Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. Prices are posted per item, by the dozen or by the pound, and most shops now take cards and mobile payment.

Endicott is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Endicott is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Donuts and cider are delicious! They also have many other awesome treats. Pretty pricey tho. The gift shop has all sorts of cool things for adults and children. Also a treat to watch them make the donuts and cider

First donuts of the season. So soft and fresh. I love the daily specials. Found out the strudel/turnover style pastries are on the weekend for specials. Good to know. There's so many new items to see now too, lots of jams, jellies and preserves that I want to try. As well as some local seasonings and sauces for BBQ season. Most importantly the most anticipated item of the year might come in June, their delicious cider! Can't wait! You can complain about price if you wish, but at the end of the day you are supporting a LOCAL family owned business. I will gladly spend my money here for the items I grew up with and enjoy. Hope to find other new and tasty items to try down the road.

My wife grew up in the area. This is my 1st time. They are celebrating 100 years. I thought it was neat. I don't like candy apples. Due to the apples are awful or soft. Wow these candy apples are so good and crispy. Wish they could last in the car back to TN. Did pick up a coffee mug and a 100th anniversary shot glass.

The Cider Mill is an Endicott classic and a must do every time we’re in town. Their cider is delicious and smooth. Depending on the patch and apples used, the flavor changes, which is a great surprise. It’s always delicious but may be sweeter or more tart or have different accents depending on the batch. The staff is very knowledgeable about these differences and will help you navigate. The donuts are incredible. The classic flavors are a must try but get a few of the specialty flavors on offer as well. We recently tried their black and white cookie which was also amazing. They also have a variety of small gift type items throughout that are fun to browse through. Have never had a negative experience here and would recommend everyone check it out!

This was my first visit since it’s been under new management. I do love that they have a lot of products inside, though now it’s more store-like than cider mill experience. I’ll have to wait until fall to get the vibes when cider and pumpkins are in demand again to get a better perspective. The donuts didn’t look great to me but then, I didn’t care for them before either as the cider donuts didn’t taste like cider at all. Trader Joe’s cider donuts taste like cider. Anyway that was on the previous owner/manager. This place has lovely items, some of them are absolutely overpriced. They have the same hand soap sold in Home Goods (not kidding-same brand) at a higher price. They have cutting boards and charcuterie boards that look pretty until you see the price tag. It’s dipped in resin to create a marble-look, it’s not actual marble. The cost shouldn’t be this high for something, which, part of it won’t even be food-safe due to the resin. This has become a shop, it’s a nice shop selling other brands such as Stonewall Kitchen etc. So, I’m happy to see another business but be sure to bring your wallet.
